These new battery operated drills and drivers are great to use and have really good battery life. My only complaint is that it is difficult to remove the battery. The plastic locks that hold the battery in are a bit oversized and hard to depress far enough to easily release the battery. I have three of these tools and have modified the lock tabs to improve battery release.

I absolutely love this impact wrench. I've been doing a lot of work on my truck that I bought recently. It takes the lug nuts off of my full sized truck with no problem at all. It also saves time anywhere you would be ratcheting. Even if you have an air compressor setup, this thing is more portable and works great. It goes through batteries pretty quickly if you're constantly using it pretty hard. I was able to keep it going by swapping out the batteries. I suppose a nice feature would be a selectable torque setting, but you can always use a torque wrench if need be. Eventually I will get the 3/8 version as well.
I did alot of research on drills and have worked in the industry for some time. When this drill arrived, it came with the drill, battery, and charger. Immediately the battery was placed on the charger, and it charges pretty quickly I might add, and I started using the product. The drill is beyond my expectations, the multi level clutch avoids stripping, and the variable speed trigger is perfect, you can go extremely slow, to fast, with just light pressure changes of your finger. Great product.
The Craftsman 19.2 Volt Tool Series in my opinion is the best collection of battery powered tools there is that is available today. They have so many different tools and you use the same battery! Even a Chainsaw! This 3/8" drill is my most recent addition to my Craftsman 19.2 volt collection. Batteries last for extended periods of time, and....there are three different types battery for this set. Awesome tools! These tools beat hands down the Dewalts, Milwaukee's and Snap-on's and you don't have to spend a weeks worth of paycheck to buy them!
I will review both product and seller. First off the seller told it like it is which is extreamly important to me. The drill itself I was useing about an hour ago. I have used my previous 19.2 for years and as with all tools of this type, it did begin to fail. I looked for a trigger replacment but none could be had. I purchased this unit as an exact replica of the one sitting in my office chair. I depend heavly on the c3 as a DIY'er and find that this unit was an excellant purchase. Nuff said?
