This independent film was made in upstate NY, it's an original and imaginative supernatural story of angels and demons, themes TV's Supernatural would use differently years later. The high-school aged lead is played by Stefan Arngrim of TVs Land Of The Giants. Cool soundtrack, too!

"Fear No Evil" was released on the big screen in the early '80's when films like "Halloween" had spawned a mass of horror release. I saw all of them, this being no exception. It has it's moments, but is very religious & very confusing. Stefan Arngrim ("Class of '84) is a bright spot. He plays the main character; a troubled out cast high school student who is actually the second coming of Lucifer. Another bright spot is the punk/alternative soundtrack featuring the likes of The Sex Pistols & Talking Heads. But, the music doesn't fit the scenes & comes across seeming foolish. There are some great scenes such as the infamous bombbardaman gym class scene. But, if you were to understand the movie, I would suggest to the viewer that he/she know religion very, very well. I don't. So, it really didn't have much appeal to me. Also, Frank LaLoggia was only 26 when he directed the film. Not bad at all for someone so young.Read full review
