The acting is standard fare for low budget "Bigfoot" movies. The story seems to borrow somewhat from the documentary "The Legend of Boggy Creek". Owning every Sasquatch/Bigfoot motion picture known to exsist, I can honestly state that the "Creature From Black Lake" with its faults is worth owning simply because it will hold you interest and does offer the viewer a decent plot. In addition, its refreshing to visit Bigfoot in the Louisiana backwoods instead of the usual location of the Pacific Northwest. THREE STARS!!!!!!!!!!

slightly better than leg. of bog. crk.; its a real movie but w/ chez actors and such. the biggest problem was the face of the bigfoot needed to be haired in and scarier. maybe a "good" film than av. the story moves w/ good scenery.
I loved this movie when I was younger and when I found it I had to have it, I loed it then and still love it now. Its classic.
I bought this because it was scary when i was a kid but its not scary anymore. It just goes to show you that change alot from when we were kids.
