Many people love Fenton glass just because. Others, myself included, like to know the names of the patterns, colors, and have a clue as to the possible values of the various pieces. I found this book to be very helpful as well as interesting. In addition to great pictures of the glass, it contains a bit of Fenton history and a bit of information as to how the glass patterns are made. Though the value guides are helpful, as always, value is determined by supply and demand,...nothing is "written in stone". It just gives you a clue. As a novice Fenton collector, I find this book to be informative and highly recommend it as well as its' sister, "Fenton Art Glass Colors and Hand-Decorated Patterns 1939-1980" by Kenn Whitmyer, Margaret Whitmyer(2005)
I HAVE DONE A REVIEW AND RATED THIS BOOK 3 TIMES.......THIS IS A VERY GOOD BOOK
