Bought because I had the same DDR3 2400MHz 10-12-12-31, but it was Team Extreem brand. It was good, but this is noticeably better in terms of Passmark PerformanceTest9 scores. I'm used to getting better performance scores than I got with Team, so I upgraded to this. Learned that same spec memory isn't always as close as I thought it should be. It may be that GSkill just used higher "binned" chips than Team ? I understand that higher end memory mfrs. test each chip and bin it, depending on how fast it will go. They just buy Hynix, Elpedia, Micron, Samsung, etc. chips, and cherry pick out the best ones for 2400MHz Cas Latency-10 modules, or lesser 2133MHz, etc.

Although stable and well made, these modules won't perform at native or maximum frequency of 2400 MHzwithout hardcore OC on AMD platform. So, all I could get on my system is 1600 MHz. Kind of disappointment.
