I 1st saw this book when it was given to me by a friend who was getting rid of a few things he had in storage. I made the mistake of raving about a couple of recipes I found while skimming it's contents. HE TOOK IT BACK! INDIAN GIVER!!! So of course I looked up the book and had to buy my own. Next time I will keep my mouth shut when somebody gives me something. :)
A rub and marinade Bible. Mr Tarantino has a firm grasp on Southwestern, Asian, Caribbean, Southern, and European treatments of meats and vegetables. Highly recommended to turn your guests, family and friends into drooling slaves!
This book was recommended to me by a professionally trained chef. If you could only have two cookbooks, get a copy of the 1975 edition of THE JOY OF COOKING ... and this book.
