At 14 episodes, this is the longest Dr Who story in my collection. While Colin Baker is not my favorite Dr (Jon Pertwee is), he does a fine job with a very twisting plot. This could have been wound up with considerably fewer episodes. The story was interesting as it investigated the conflict of the Dr’s darker inner self. Michael Jayston, as the Valeyard(prosecutor),obviously had some Shakespearean training and served well as a strong adversary. All in all, a good watch if you have several days to spend. It was a good deal for 4 separately packaged cds.
Idid not know these stories existed, they were not my Dr. Who episodes (incomplete list I guess). Watched once and expect to watch more. Colin Baker was not my favorite Dr. (he could be so patronizing to Peri and Mel) but I like the episodes anyway.
