I experienced some recent health issues. A co-worker recommended this book to me and loan me their copy for review......... Had to have my own copy....... [Awaiting it's arrival] I have also purchased the Superfoods Healthstyle by the same authors, which is a 2007[latest] publication expanding on the Superfoods RX..... By the way the co-worker recommending the book is a Chef at a 5-Star resort [knows his stuff1]
This book is a great resource to better health gained through nutrition. Nutrition has been proven to play a key role in optimum health and this book covers all the basic superfoods. It also gives portions needed and recipes. I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking a better understanding of foods that make a difference!
The book is written with the individual in mind. It is not assumed that everyone loves the same foods as the author - no matter how good the food is for you. And that understanding allows for people's allergies as well.

Breaks down in a simple format the main superfoods and even will give you recipes and some of their favorite products out there in todays market. Biggest eye opener for me is the quantity of some of these foods we are supposed to be eating.
