The service was great & the book was in great condition. I love this series & wish the author would add more books to the 4 book series!

I started with the first book in the series (Babylon Rising) and was hooked by the action mixed with Bible prophecy and intrigue. Similar to Clive Cussler books without the annoying view of women as sex objects. Like Dirk Pitt, Michael Murphy gets in and out of impossible situations. Tim LaHaye is no-holds-barred on Christianity, so someone who does not believe and is not even open to the possibility will not like this book. Otherwise it is an fun way to pick up info about the Bible, world religions and archeology while enjoying a fast paced story.
The book is fast paced and interlaced with Biblical history that adds to the overall story. It is what they refer to as a 'page turner'. It has the age old good vs evil format that gives a good feeling when good finally wins out. It is an enjoyable read and you pick up some interesting facts about the Bible of which you might not have been completely aware or didn't know the complete story. A pleasant respite from the 'Left Behind' series.
It's another Tim LaHaye I got totally absorbed in. Action packed.

This is a well written, fast paced book that keeps the reader in suspense. It is Christian oriented but it isn't over the top with proselytizing. It is action packed while providing quite a bit of education regarding the subject matter and it's history. I would highly recommend this first book in the series. I do feel that it is in line writing-style wise with the Left Behind series. However, the second book in the Babylon Rising series, The Secret of Mt. Ararat, doesn't seem to be nearly as well written.
