For those that like to go LONG, this club is one you want to have in your bag. Sure, all the hype out there goes on and on about how hybrids are taking over the world - but the reality is...that if you can hit a 5 iron, you can enjoy pinpoint accuracy with a TaylorMade 2I, like this one. The club length is nice and the metal shaft is a necessity: you're looking to get some good clubhead speed going and the reward if you do? A ball that sails away like it's been hit by a low-mid trajectory, modern-day driver. The club is unforgiving because of this, and while I wouldn't recommend it for folks who can't get the club moving - to those who know how to use body mechanics to drive a club around the proper swing plane? You'll LAUGH ALOUD when you see the ball sail away to *precisely* where you wanted to put it. Amazing club.Read full review
I bought my set of TaylorMade LCG irons new back in 1999 and have been using them ever since. I was in a member/guest scramble tourney several months ago and misplaced my PW. The stink of it was, that was the very club I had used in that tourney when I holed out for an eagle on a par 4 from 130 yds. I was so sad because my set was now incomplete. I considered buying a new Vokey or Cleveland PW, but they just didn't feel the same when I swung them. I also found out that the LCG irons all have "strong" launch angles so the stock PW is 45 degrees vice the "standard" 47 or 48. Anyway, I love the weight and balance of these clubs and am extremely happy with my recent eBay acquisition that filled the vacancy in my bag. However, it will be some time before my "new" club fills the sentimental void of that lost club. Nonetheless, I will thoroughly enjoy the journey. Hit em' long and straight.Read full review

First time Ebay Purchaser. I'm very satisfied! I received a high quality golf club for a very fair price. Purchased a very hard to find golf club (TaylorMade Burner Bubble Shaft LCG, regular shaft, 8 iron) for a very fair price.
I bought this club as a replacement to a set of irons I have. The club could not be fixed locally here in my city. I asked around and got prices elsewhere only to find it would be easier and less expensive to buy it through ebay. So I did and I was really happy with the condition the club was in.
