I admit that JM bars are my favorite. I became addicted after my first sheet of the 1 oz bars. They are sealed in plastic which I prefer, but what love about JM Pressed Bars is that they shine like "New Money." I also like the easily readable big stamped serial numbers. I photograph each bar (like my firearms) to prove these "Beauties" belong to me in case of theft. When JM Silver Inc. was sold the Spot Price began to increase. Rumours associated about the company going out of business and now minted in limited numbers by a private mint in Texas (Gage Metals) or others like, made by Sunshine Mint are somewhat true. I have researched JM Silver for a while. I discovered that the only "Real JM Bar" made today is a large poured silver bar and being sold in conjunction with a Japanese company. I prefer the pressed JM bar, like these 1 oz that are labeled as "The New JM Bar. I still purchase these and I pay well above spot when compared to other big name mints. I hope that they will continue to increase in value because of the rarity and difficult to find.Read full review
