Mayor for Life is an excellent read. It is very candid and honest. Marion Barry's biography depicts his humanism, compassion, dedication and commitmen; his human flaws and vulnerability. The late Marion Barry was, indeed, an extradinary individual. I bought this book to learn more about the man and his mission. I liked his honesty. I did not like the fact that the book has no table of contents. I liked it very much and recommend it as a "MUST READ" whether you agree with his politics or not. He was a remarkable man. His work in Washington, D.C. speaks for him.
