This sheet music in written in the Key of C. The actual recording is in the key of G, so you couldn't "play along with the record" using this particular version. You CAN find the music written in the original key of G in four songbooks by Olivia Newton-John: 2 published in 1975, both having the cover of ONJ in a jean jacket with her arms folded. One cover has no border; the other has a white border with an abbreviated list of songs listed on the bottom. The one with the white border was reprinted in 1976 and includes "Don't Stop Believin'" and "Sam." In 1977, ONJ released a "Greatest Hits" LP and its songbook. In 1978, the "Greatest Hits" song book was re-released to include three songs from "Grease," Both of these "Greatest Hits" compilations include "Have You Never Been Mellow" in the Key of G. The photo on the cover of this sheet is a head shot taken in 1973, shortly before she was "made-over" to please U.S. audiences.Read full review
