Never saw something so compact play so well. I'm told that vinyl records are making a big comeback, so this is why I wanted a portable record player, I have a number of Crosley products and saw this little beauty on EBay at a reasonable price, so I did not hesitate to buy one. The player is built well, quality all around even to the carrying handle, plus ports on the side for hook up to a component system. It sounds really good and the side speakers seem refined to the point of easy listening and not "tinny" like some cheap equipment. So on a scale of 1-10, it's definitely a 10.

This is a very nice turntable for someone who just wants an easy, portable way to play vinyl. The sound quality is not the best, as you might expect, but it's decent. You aren't going to be fighting for your right to party with this system, but some mood music at a wine tasting would be reasonable. And of course the RCA jacks are nice if you want to patch it into a bigger system (which I haven't personally tested yet). Overall, $40 for a reconditioned system that looks and sounds like new is a great deal.

This is a personal turntable and used that way, it delivers correctly. If you want more sound you can hook up speakers via the RCA plug and crank up the volume. It's small and easy too move around.

I expected the least, I got the best! It works really good!!!

Sounds like trash. You could hook up speakers (defeating the point of this compact suitcase design), but be careful with the rca inputs as the plate holding them probably isn't even attached to the body.
