I purchased Lou Manna's book on Food Photography because I am doing food photography and am seeking ideas on how to improve and do a better job for my clients. I really liked Lou's showing how he evolves from the first trial shots to the finished shot that his client selects. He provided quite a bit of data on different lighting choices, but could provide more on Flash equipment and light placement. He also shared good ideas on many other issues on all aspects of food photograhy. I just finished his first book and plan to purchase his newest book shortly. Thank you for sharing good info.!
I like his book. too many photos and explanation how this happen. but sometimes i feel I need the writer to give more explanations and details. I hope that the writer also take shots for the light setup. overall , good book to have it and learn from it.
