If you're reading this review you probably know what the series are about. The season 4 of The Six Million Dollar Man (1976-1977) has all the excitement that turned the series into a landmark of the 70's Popular culture. As a matter of fact, what you can see in this season is the return of the Bionic Bigfoot, crossover episodes with Lindsay Wagner (the bionic woman), the deadly Fembots, the relentless Soviet probe, a bionic boy, and on top of that you have guest appearances by beauties like Kim Basinger, Stefanie Powers, and Farrah Fawcett. If you like the series this season is definitely a MUST. My takes on the hardware: The overall presentation is 10/10. For your money you get a full color, embossed, detailed, and high-quality slipcase that covers a plastic DVD holder that keeps all 8-disks in a spindle, like a cake. There is a cover, but there isn't any booklet inside. When you open the plastic case you can read the titles of the episodes on each disk. All eight disks are one-sided. They are correctly labeled in full color, numbered, and featuring the episodes contained. Image/sound: The image quality is fantastic, and so is the sound. The remaster work done to the original films is great, making the series a pleasure to watch. I've compared this with the previous seasons that I bought in Germany, and the difference in sound & image quality is pretty big. Extras: One very nice extra in this set is the audio commentary track on the episode "Vulture of the Andes" by director Cliff Bole. Also, in this DVD set you can also find included three hard-to-find crossover episodes of the Six Million Dollar Man on the Bionic Woman series. It's 22 episodes + 3 Bionic woman episodes featuring Col. Steve Austin! As I said, if there is anything you liked in the series, this particular season is a must-have. Both the package, and episodes are 10/10.Read full review
I received DVD set in a timely manner haven't watched it yet very good price but wish more sellers would use free shipping more as soon as season 5 arrives I'll have the full set, I've been looking for this show for years and so far I've seen episodes I hadn't seen since I was a teenager brings back some good memories, wish more of the 70's shows would be released. As far as I'm concerned the older shows were better than today's shows even though the special effects are cheesy they did the best with what they had at the time. Story lines I think were better then they were more family orienedt than today's showsa lot less cussing and nudity , something the whole family could sit down together and watch.

Season 4 was great. Stories leaving good guys vs bad guys behind for Steve Austin solving hidden topics - Bigfoot, deep sea, international.

I knew that I had to get this after seeing the first three seasons of the show and the first season of The Bionic Woman knowing that there had to be crossover episodes. I was right and it had some incredible episodes that I did not see at all. I have to recommend getting this for anyone that has seen the show and wants to see the crossover episodes.
