I loved the book and I look forward to reading two others by Charles A. Lindbergh, himself, that I have already bought. The book was well researched, well written, and left me not just inspired but in awe of Charles A. Lindbergh. The era may be past, but the icon lives on, his books, books about him. The book educated me, and made me appreciate what Lindbergh did for this country and others, with his personal insight and invitations into the makings of Hitler's Germany. He returned with knowledge, and then warned other countries and made suggestions for protection against what he could see ahead and, sure enough, it hit hard and in full force. We all might just have been crushed had he not forewarned France and the U.S. especially, who were so ill-prepared for war. I'm not sure Hitler's men expected Lindbergh to have the forsight he did. Did they underestimate him! He was a man not to be underestimated. It was descriptive, visual, and really excellent. It was a wise purchase and I enjoyed reading it. I am proud to have it my collection. Thanks for asking for my review. /Suzanne CloseRead full review
