Hey All, Just finished listening to this disc...I've always been a big fan of Neil's, but have always favored his early, more energetic work. To me - he wandered and meandered in the 90's-2000's, never quite hitting the mark. The "Tennessee Moon" LP was an exception. This album, although not taking us back to "Solitary Man" Or "2 Bit Manchild" is much closer to his pop roots. It's worth listening to and there are flashes of past playfulness and energy. Stand-outs are "Melody Road", "First Time" & (OOO Do I Wanna Be Yours". Well worth adding to the collection. Will
Been a fan since 1970. I rocked to his songs; voice & lyrics...spoke to me! Went to every concert that came to Phoenix & Tucson. I've aged. I've mellowed. I really love his new Melody Road CD. He's mellowed too, and speaks to me. I still enjoy his original songs! They bring back great memories & I feel young again when I hear them. 🎼❤

Sounds great.....just like the old Neil Diamond, maybe his voice wasn't so powerful as 20 years ago, but still sounds as good as he once was. Sweet Caroline is still my favorite.....and I still remember when he opened his show in Birmingham, AL. several years ago, he sang (Coming to America) and brought the house down.......
I have been a fan for a long time but am just now discovering his music. The first song I remember hearing is 'Forever in Blue Jeans". Mom and I were coming back from a drs.apppointment.
