This is an outstanding book with a new approach to information concerning the artistry of Louis Comfort Tiffany. He became the Art Director of Tiffany & Co. after his father Charles died in 1902; and his influence was immediately noted in new imaginative design styles. Tiffany's approach to artistic motifs derived from nature was fresh and humble, noted in the fact that he truly admired weeds as much as he did orchids. The jewelry designs, as well as his Favrile glass, featured in this volume truly demonstrate Tiffany's love for nature and its simplistic beauty as well as his approach to art nouveau. I purchased this volume on eBay as a gift for a friend. I simply got tired of Amazon failing in their promise to get it for me month after month. I owned a brooch featured in the book at the time it was written, and have met and do amire John Loring very much. This volume is a fun and informative read and I highly advise all Tiffany enthusiasts to expand their horizon.Read full review

I love this book. I already owned this book, so the one I ordered was a gift for a friend who LOVES L. C. Tiffany! Stunningly beautiful pictures. It's the next best thing to owning a piece of his incredible work!
