This series is amazing, Don Wildman is a great host who is passionate about his discoveries. He presents it in a precise straight forward manner, there is no conspiracy stuff involved, very logical. Has maps and shows a TON of good footage of stuff that was never photographed or presented to an audience before in ANY form. I love all of the videos, in season 3 the secrets of the freemasons looks at Washington DC, Boston and Philly tunnels, forts, underground railroad wasnt just figurative, they tunneled underground from Arlington VA, under washington DC, through fort meade, then under Baltimore (where I lived and discovered has a million tunnnels during the earthquake last year) through Andrews AFB, to Philly, all the way to the empire state building and NYC. There is another season where he shows that rosevelt traveled in these....GREAT GREAT SERIES!!!! Here is a list of Don's shows: Cities of the Underworld Weird Travels Off Limits Mysteries at the Museum Don and any other cataphiles/urban explorers contact me on facebook.com/FreightVT and reference this for more discussion. I really want Don Wildman to include me in a documentary of underground/forbidden baltimore. Fallston Freemason house at 1022 S Linwood Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224 on mapquest. I pretty much mapped the entire city. All great kids, great school buildings are old fallout shelters. ***DON WILDMAN, contact me at the above listed FB address!Read full review
I recommend this show for all ages. I had been trying to get Netflix to get this show on their streaming program, it's not easy to find. If you need a good real history program for your students or children if you're homeschool, this is something that the whole family can enjoy. The second host, Don Wildman, is more fun to watch than the first host.

I decided to purchase this item because I have an interesr in archaeology and am also interested in architecture. This series is so very, very interesting. I knew there was an underground in NYC, Rome and London, but didn't know that there was extensive underground builing/dwellings/villages/cities in Edinburgh,Scotland or Budapest, Hungary.I also know there was an underground in Paris, France, but not how extensive it was.You can learn quite a lot of history and it does not hurt a bit. The men who narrate are so totally into what they are doing that it is a real pleasure to watch them explore.Considering where they are filming and the equipment they use, the quality of the pictures is amazing in being very clear. I would recommend this series to anyone.
The reason why i bought the Cities of the Underworld: The Complete Season One (2007, DVD) is because it was very informative on the freemason. I never knew until I watched the DVD Cities of the Underworld: The Complete Season One (2007, DVD) is that there are cities below cities. It was very interesting learning about the different cities and sites and where they are located and how far down below the cities that another city is and was at one time in the past. And my son felt it was very informative on the research and lengths they took in efforts to be truthful on the pagan subject in the movie. He felt that even though Jesus played a part in that era that the pagan subject was very intricate on the details of the pagan past and present.
We have been interested in History Channel's subjects on Secret Passageways and Underground Cities. We purchased the whole set and have enjoyed it. It is informative and very interesting. The computer graphics help to show how it looked or the position in relationship to the land form. The only complaint we would have is that subtitles are not provided. Sometimes the background music is so loud that the conversation is difficult to hear and understand. This is a great buy if you have any interest in this subject.
