I was a bit worried when I saw two scratches on disc 2 of this collection, with that worrying intensifying when episode 36 started skipping some frames of footage when I was playing the disc on my computer. When I played the same disc on my DVD player, the episode played just fine without too much worry. Hopefully, it was just a minor hiccup on a first time use. Either way, One Piece is a spectacular show and you should definitely consider purchasing the DVDs to view the series, especially when collections 1-9 have the first 206 episodes of the show featured in its original 4:3 aspect ratio as opposed to having those episodes cropped to fit a 16:9 aspect ratio on Netflix and Hulu.
