I have had two of these break off. The spout is only glued to the base. Both of them broke off while filling my tank from the fuel can. I have had to blaze the spouts back onto the base. The other choice is to use a self priming jiggle siphon hose to empty your fuel can.

as usual when you buy something made in Asian countries it is set to fail couldn't find 1 made in the usa so I went against my better judgement and bought this 1 after 4 uses it separated I am going to try to put some silicone or gorilla glue around it hopefully that will keep it together
