This uncut pattern has seven pieces that can be used to create period-appropriate undergarments or to put together a one-of-a-kind look with Gothic details. The ArkiVestry collection is uniquely designed to meet both costuming and everyday fashion needs, equally suitable for a stage play or a night out on the town. The gown can be made in three different lengths, from a floor-length gown to a short flowing shirt. The bloomers can also be made in three different lengths according to your needs. A netted sleeve pattern is included to change the look of the gown if desired. With so many different lengths, you’ll be able to mix and match to meet your needs. This pattern provides all the information needed to guide your sewing and construction to fit your preferred alterations. The ArkiVestry pattern covers a range of sizes, as designated on the pattern's packaging. Because this is a multi size pattern, you have more options as to how to construct the garment. It can allow you to make multiple gowns for people of different sizes. Another option, if you find yourself in between sizes, is to create a grade between the two sizes so that you can get a better fit. One of the benefits of making your own garments is that if you are a hard to fit body type, you can adjust it to your measurements. For those with a tall, slim figure, length can be added where it’s needed. Length can be taken away if you want to make the bloomers short or if you happen to be shorter than average.
