This was a very interesting read, and I bought it thinking that the latest edition would be useful in my online class. If you are a student at Ashford University, CHECK YOUR STUDENT GUIDE before purchasing this book for the informal logic course. You will definitely need whatever edition is asked for (at the time of this writing it was the 8th edition), as some of the discussion assignments come straight from the textbook, and the advanced editions of this text are changed radically, not only in the order of the chapters, but also in the content. I was forced to rely on classmate's assistance at the last minute to get assignment questions and used the online supplement for the 8th edition to get me through the course. The book itself is very good, and kept my interest while studying.
I bought the book a while back ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available in the book. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The book's size is perfect for carrying in a backpack. I would have to say overall that I am happy with my purchase and I believe in the product and would recommend it to anyone looking for cheap books at fair prices.
Moore & Parker have put together a great "manual" for how to think in short. As such it's great for people who care about philosophy, math, or politics because critical thinking is something we do and need to do all the time. It's what helps you tell what's bull and what isn't, and this is an excellent book for that purpose.
the book is goood, the ideas of this book is not only to make claims or take position on issue but it can do lots of other important things. It can hypothesize, conjecture, suppose and propose. you can also can try to persuade others of something or attempt to get them to do something.
Brand New Book which is really great. Easy to use. Total brand new. I like the book. Great features.
