It is a Pitching Wedge, not the sandwedge you see in this photo. The one I bought had a graphite shaft, not steel. I bought this wedge because many of the newer wedges are "too strong" in that their loft angles are 45 degrees or less. That left too large a gap between the PW and GW (52 degrees). The X20 wedge has 46 degrees of loft. This club is exactly what Dave Pelz suggests a wedge should "feel" like. Head heavy. I find it to be very accurate for full shots. Care needs to be exercised in touch shots around the green (ya think?). The ball sometimes comes off more crisp than I expect as the club has a lively face. The club has a nice look, nice feel and works as well or better than the Cleveland wedge I was using previously. I don't give it perfect marks because the face might be "too lively" for some folks and the Cleveland has better touch for the short pitch and run shots.Read full review
I purchased this Sand Wedge to go with a new set of x-20NG clubs I purchaed on ebay. Has a little more swing wiegt than the rest of the iron set and is very nice club. Here is the review I wrote on the full set.....These clubs are very forgiving and what a hot price!!! I have been playing Cobra FP Irons for last 2 years and am an 11 handicap. These clubs add about 10 yards to my shots and the mis-hits are much better than with my cobras. I love the iron number on the upper corner of the face so you can remember what club you pulled when looking down at address. I was a little concerned about the new grooves (NG) of these clubs at first but at my level of play I do not notice a difference and the straight shots and forgiveness far outwiegh any loss of spin that might be there (again, barely noticeable at my 11hcp level). Buy these clubs and you will not be sorry!!!!Read full review
The ability to hit a great variety of shots was expected and that was what I received. The club is easy to hit and work shots at every trajectory. No surprises but greatly appreciated.

Good quality as all Callaway products generally are. Great for 1/2 to full swings. Puts a good amount of spin on ball. Ball flys farther with this one compared to a blade sand wedge. Kind of heavy making it a little chunky for chips around the green. Good out of the bunker. Great club for average golfers, better golfers will want a more precise sand wedge.
