After owning many original M1 helmets, and an expensive repro. This helmet is not bad, especially for re-enactments, airsoft, and costumes. The helmet liner is of course plastic instead of fiberglass, but the lining adjusts nicely. The chin strap is of the later models, and is a little thinner than originals, but easy enough to replace for the required time period look you are going for. Seeing that you can’t get an original halfway decent late model M1 helmet for under 60$ these days, spending 35$ shipped for one that comes new and compete, and works great for costumes is not a bad idea for someone on a budget. Gone are the days of a complete good condition M1 helmet for 20$

Its 95% accurate. It claims to be ww2 but little things make it not. Its things like the Chinstraps and shade of green but other than than its 100% ok. Little things but i love it. Definitely good for starters and extras in reenacting.

This helmet was absolutely not what was advertised. The helmet isn't sized right and fits very tight. Also liner doesn't fit well that came with helmet. And the outer rim of the helmet is cracked which is in this picture below. Helmet is also made out of very weak material.

i love the straps and the suspension inside. the helmet liner is comfortable on me and stays in the helmet well. the only complaint i have is the shade of green isn't as dark as expected. nothing homedepot won't fix. i recommend it highly

Helmet is of good quality, and is a good value for money. My only criticism is that the packing is poor (plastic bag with minimal protection). I received mine dented, but they promptly returned my payment. Otherwise a good deal if you feel lucky.
