I really wanted to like this. I love old movies. And I had heard so much about Carole Lombard, but I think her acting was just awful. We had Hurricane Harvey blowing outside and seemed like the perfect time to settle in and watch this. My husband left the room when the guy started jumping around like a chimp. No fun. I realize humor was much more innocent back then. And I can appreciate that. But all I could think about was thank goodness she didn't get the role of Scarlett in GWTW. Vivian Leigh could act circles around Carole. This movie was just awful.
