Fascinating story you can't put down
Having a long time fascination with Crosley cars and as a collector of Crosley radios I found this book positivly delightful. The story cronicles the lives of Powell and Lewis Crosley. The story goes far beyond their diminutive cars and inexpensive radio's. It explores the personal lives, and the industrial triumphs and failures of theese two remarkable men. From radio's to Cars, kitchen appliances and even a short lived venture into the field of aviation the Crosley brothers seemed to always be in the right place at the right time but that had little to do with luck and more to do with a great degree of intelegence. Powell, the visionary and dreamer, and His brother lewis the man that made it happen behind the scenes. If you thought you knew all about Crosley I gaurantee if you read this book you will discover how little you do know.Read full review

This is probably one of the best written biographies I've read in awhile. As a fan of American history and a restorer of Crosley cars I really enjoyed the story behind these two entrepreneurial brothers. Not only does it detail their personal lives but the book does an excellent job of descibing the world events that placed both opportunities and obstacles upon the Crosley's trek. This book is a very enjoyable and easy read that I would reccommend to anyone looking for a good true story.
