What can I say, other than that if you had any fun in the "underground club" scene in the 80's and have no residual bias, you will most likely enjoy this album. These guys have done many music projects and L.& R.'s is on of their more "up beat" and almost happy works. Express is the album which dj's of the era would call their "Best Of" or "greatest hits album". For me it was a nice way to revisit those days. If you know of Tones on Tails or of Bauhaus, you may think of this as watered down, however I think this effort was a result these guys growing out of the batcave and having a bit more fun with their music. All in all, it is good fun from the days of darkwave/dance/subpop/night music from the British club scene of the 80's.
These were my days..great shows and really great memories. I bought this for my 13 year old niece, turning her on to some of my personal favorites..also got her the Ramones.
