Absolutely loved this book. I sat down on a snowy morning with my book and a cup of tea. Finished off a pot of tea that morning and finished reading the book as well. What a glorious afternoon I had. I have now passed this book along to one of my prayer sisters...I'm thinking this book will make it through our group of prayer sisters in a very short time. Highly recommend this book to others. Men, women and to families will really enjoy this book.

The book club I attend chose this book to read. I didn't particularly enjoy the story, because I felt such a harsh, critical tone from the characters. However, part of my feelings undoubtedly came because I was listening to the book on CD, and that was my mistake in ordering. The CD narrator made the main character sound harsh and critical most of the time, which I may have interpreted differently if I was reading the book myself. I also felt it took too long to actually get to the point of the storyline (a few chapters).

I like the author of this book and I decided to buy it because I like almost everything that T.D. Jakes writes.
