The original Bullseye dates from the 1940s. I bought this putter new in the mid 1960s. Recently I got it out of my equipment closet, shined up the solid brass head with some Brasso (brass polish) and had it regripped. This putter has a very, very soft feel upon impact, but the sweet spot is small, and the putter is not overly forgiving. But if you hit the ball properly, the Bullseye is one of the softest feeling putters I have ever played. Mine has a single deep sighting line across the top. Using it demands a higher degree of skill than a lot of the newer, more forgiving putters, but I feel that it is a good learning tool, since it forces you to hit it properly. By spending a little time once in a while with this putter, it rewards me when I go back to a more forgiving putter, since I usually hit the newer club very well after using the less forgiving Bullseye. You can pick one of these up for 10 to 15 bucks and they are worth the time spent improving your putting technique. It's a lot of fun playing with the same putter many of the old pros used, and some still use. President Eisenhower was a big fan of the Bullseye. It's alot of golf history in your hands.Read full review
This Bullseye putter head is in good condition for its age and prior use (few nicks and scratches). It will look more impressive when polished. It needs a new shaft and grip, which was known when purchased. An original flare tip shaft may be difficult to find, but their is a True Temper flare tip available. It will make a good usable putter when reconstructed.

If you already have one of several thousands of putters on the market, get a Titleist BullsEye as a training aid. I have 4 Scott Camerons, but when my putting goes south, I break out the John Reuter, Brass Bulls Eye for a round or two. It's shocking how the putter gets you back on track with feel and a smaller sweetspot. Every putt rolls true. When facing a fast downhill put, I just putt off the toe and the ball gently rolls down to the hole. You cannot beat the price since I paid $5 plus freight for my original Bulls Eye with the original grip and shaft. Don't waste your money on Putting Training Aids, and get a Bulls Eye. You will be pleasantly surprised! bill reno, nv
I have every putter out there, but this standard flange bullseye is the best most straight forward, soft putter there is. No bulky, lines everywhere putter. Try it once and you will be convinced.
