The book is great. Classic Lee & Kirby that is fun and accessible for fans of any age. My only knock is that the hard cover reprints have become fairly unnecessary. If you think that your comic collection gains some dignity (or shelf appeal) by having hardcover bindings, or if you want to do everything you can to make sure your comic collection lasts forever, I suppose this is the version that you should get. For those who simply want to read the stories, the Marvel Essential Fantastic Four v.1 has double the content (Fantastic Four #1-20) for a fraction of the cost (but it's b&w on non-glossy paper, of course). Also, Marvel has been putting out glossy softcover square bound color editions of the Masterworks editions that are still a lot cheaper than these.
These are great marvel books .
