I highly recommend getting this blu ray version of 24 season 8 over the DVD, transfer looked very good for a tv show and the DTSHD track is so good it rivals a lot of sound mixes that are coming out now. You also don't have to switch discs as often when watching the entire season, this only has 4 discs compared to the 6-disc DVD set. It's unfortunate 24 seasons 1-6/Redemption don't have American blu ray releases with HD lossless sound, I really do think those seasons could benefit from blu ray and bring this classic show to its full potential. All special features are the same as the DVD.

It's a nonstop heart racing action packed tv series you don't want to walk away from. The series has a great cast. The show has wonderful special affects. A wonderful story line. The show is set in great locations: a must buy for any Kiefer southerland fan.
