For the past year or two I have enjoyed reading stories that involve the Amish and their lifestyle. This is my first book by Beth Wiseman and I enjoyed it very much. In fact I just received the second book in this particular series. Plain Perfect was very good, although I can't help but wonder if it was very realistic. It's hard to believe that a person could fairly easily adapt to the Amish lifestyle - but irregardless, I still enjoyed the storyline and the wonderful characters.
The book kept my attention from the beginning to the end. It was hard to put down and go to sleep.

I bought the book because I'd read all of my other Amish books by other authors. I'd never read anything by Beth Wiseman but saw how people were grabbing her books up like mad.I made my purchase then I bought two more which were the 2nd & 3rd books in this series.I love how God worked through Lillian to bring her Mother back home to see her parents alive one last time. Amazing how one man Samuel was given another chance to love after the passing of Rachel years earlier.David knew before they did that they were made for each other.I loved it when both Sarah jane and daughter Lillian both joined the Amish faith at the same day.I cried when Irma passed,I never saw it coming she always looked after her ailing husband Jonas and I thought surely he'd die first like everyone else. Now I'm hooked on Beth Wiseman's books. As long s she writes books I'll read them.
