This is an excellent book about food and wine pairing. The recipes are from the "Square One" restaurant where Joyce Goldstein was the chef. Evan Goldstein is her son and the restaurant closed upon Joyce's retirement. Friend have told us about the great food that was served. Fun book that is easy to read and use. We have used the book as a foundation for wine/food pairing dinners. It is an excellent starter book to become better acquainted with the world of wine and how it can enhance your dining experience. We have had entire dinners around one wine and people are amazed at how the recipes are enhanced by the wine suggested.
