Like traveling in time! When I watched the first episode with my daughter I almost cry... ha, ha, because it brought back memories of my childhood days. Great series, good imagination and its a wonderful experience to learn about art, landmarks, events and everything in a fun way. I also have the old games were I was the player and the new one for the DS system. Really, We love Carmen San Diego. And now my daughter loves it too. They should put it back on tv!!!
This was purchased for our children as a educational tool. Our children love it, age 5 to age 25. And to be honest both my husband and I enjoy it also. We have only watched about 17 episodes so far and many interesting world facts brought out in this animated series. The music is catchy and the animation is top class. I feel this animated (cartoon) series is a must for your younger children to get interested in world geography. I would recommend it to all who enjoy watching animated programs and learning interesting world facts at the same time.
My kids had never seen any of these episodes until I purchased this set. They were hooked as soon as the first episode was on. It’s perfect for this homeschool family! They’ve been learning geography without even realizing it. Win! Win!
