Childhood favorite British miniseries.
Growing up my family and I watch and read a lot of British literature. Now, looking back, I remember a lot this miniseries of Beatrix Potter’s but a lot of it I had forgotten. So as well as of being an old delight to see it again, but also flash new delight of see things I’ve never seen before.

Worth the Buy!
Bought this collection, as I grew up with them. Instead of keeping that large outdated VHS collection, I was able to compress it all and get this solid dvd bundle. However, my slight issue, that I hadn’t realized until recently, was that some of the voices of the characters were different in America than they were in the UK. This bundle is the original voice actors from the UK, and not from the US. This was surprising for me, but still the same stories nonetheless. Worth the buy

Beatrix Potter Collection
When my daughter was born 26 yrs. ago, we had a Peter Rabbit theme in her bedroom. We had the VCR tapes of all the stories (and, of course, the books). I was so pleased to be able to purchase the DVD form of these stories. Now, I can continue watching them.

I had this set on VHS tapes and am looking forward to watching these lovely stories again. I started buying these in 1993 and eventually collected all that were distributed. My grandchildren loved them and am hoping that DVD sticks around long enough for my great-grandchildren to watch these wonderful films. They are actually true to the lovely water colors Miss Potter used over a hundred years ago to draw and bring to life her wonderful characters. We got this set for our child's 10th bday. She has the book set, so we thought she would enjoy these as well. She loved them! She is a rabbit and a Beatrice Potter fan. You won't be disappointed.
