Songs are somewhat corny. Sheryl Crow's version of Elvis' Blue Christmas is insulting, sounds like an animal in distress. Smashing Pumpkin's should retire indefinitely. Natalie Merchant is excellent though and "OI TO THE WORLD" by No Doubt... I'm embarrassed for them, no wonder she is solo now. Merry Christmas PS Time Life Christmas is wayyyyyyyyy betterrrrrr!!
I actually purchased this CD because I wanted Chris Cornell's version of Ave Maria playing when I walk down the aisle at my upcoming wedding. Sting's I Saw Three Ships is excellent. And I enjoyed the rest of the CD, except for Sheryl Crow's Blue Christmas (but I can't stand her voice anyhow so that was no surprise). Excellent CD - I highly recommend it.
The selection of Christmas tunes is good. Bit I found I did not like the renditions of about half of them.
