The book was a fast read with a lot of good anecdotal material. I thought the author might have a few more direct insights from when he dealt personally with Ronald Reagan. Other than that the stories were very good and helped give a sense of who Ronald Reagan was and how he handled himself in private life. Fun and intersting read if you are a Ronald Reagan fan or historical buff.
I thought it should have been titled Jim Kuhn's White House Years, as it was really more about Jim Kuhn and less about Ronald Reagan. I had already read Nancy Reagan's "My Turn" and found many of Jim Kuhn's descriptions of Ronald's life to be a mirror of Nancy's book. All in all, it was an okay read.
The book is more or less a tribute to Ronald Reagan. Written by a former employee, obviously showing his love and respect for Mr. Reagan. It is a good book for a person looking into the personality of Mr. Reagan.
