If you don't know by now Genghis Khan was the classic KOEI strategy game for the NES. If this wasn't actually the very first real strategy game with ancient kingdoms who compete for rule in the Eurasian old world then it must have been one of the very first. The game itself was of fairly simple design and geared towards older players starting with teens. It did a fair job for some time in the early 90's keeping a good portion of the +15 year old male side of my family preoccupied for awhile. You'd build your armies with archers, calvary or infantry units. You could also keep your towns people happy by feeding them and or playing with the taxation levels. As turns moved forward seasons changes too which affected everything you were gonna need to do next. You do all these things in this game so you could keep going to war in self defense or not in hopes of one day being victorious over all of your enemies. This game even though it often times gets overlooked because its an older title and it wasn't exactly designed with little kids in mind. It is STILL a true Nintendo Entertainment System classic that deserves serious consideration to anyone looking for a good ol' strategy war sim to play.Read full review
GK is simply one of my most favorite games from Koei and NES. What it lacks in graphics it makes up for in gameplay.

I have been trying to find this game for a while! It's a rare game. It's even more rare to find one that still works. I'm not into the newer video games. I prefer the older games. I was in shock to find this game. Not only was it a bargain at it's price but it still works. I'm very happy that ebay exists!!!!
Fast delivery, game works great!
