An often profanity-laced series of graphic novels that espouses liberal dogma, promotes homosexuality, and justifies s-m practices. I thought this tale would have been much improved if it preached depravity less and focused on what potentially is an engaging tale about what would happen to the last male on Earth. The artistic merits of the story are undercut by the tawdriness of the female characters who exhibit the worst aspects of the male culture that Vaughn obliquely criticizes--just as some criticize Hemingway for writing females who act like men, I feel Vaughn fails because he is obsessed with the base nature of men and misogynistically writes women who are killers, perverts, and nothing resembling the fairer sex.
