I thought the books were hard cover. They are paperback and that was not noted in the description. Many pages missing from Half Blood Prince.
I expected the books to be hard cover. They are not and the info did not mention that they were paperback. I am currently reading the Half Blood Prince and there are many pages missing. The box they come in is attractive and that is their best feature only.

This is an amazing gift that was given to me for my 20th birthday and I've been wanting to start reading the Harry Potter series and now I have the whole set! The box set has appealing artwork that wraps around the binding and box to create an appealing panoramic suitable for adolescent audiences. The binding features the nightscape of Hogwarts which looks appealing, even on mature owner's, book shelf. I am very happy with this purchase compared to the bright argyle/ cartoons of the old box sets.
