This book is an autobiography of Sam Walton. The brilliance of this book is in Sam's passion for making his stores better--- he never settles for "good enough". There are always improvements to be made to make the stores and company better. It's the best business book I've ever read. He shows the American dream by working for others until he can get the necessary capital to start on his own, eventually starting Wal-Mart at age 45. The book has a number of side-stories about Sam's life, in addition to his work life, which keeps the books very readable. People who will like the book the best are people interested in starting a business. They will gain the most "business principles" from the book, though I think it's a must read for everyone in business.
Can’t beat the price I paid for this hardback. I’ve heard why waste decades of your life when you can spend pennies to learn the mistakes of this infamous billionaire and adapt vicariously.
