These are the easiest calculators to do home loans and savings as the entries match the way you think. I have been using them since they came out 40 years ago. Too bad they discontinued them for the more multi function - and more complicated to use - ones.

I have purchased about six of these types of calculators including the TI 35 Scientific calculator all manufactured in the early to mid 1980s. They are great looking calculators and built very robust but unfortunately over the years the "contacts" between the keys and the calculator itself become "disengaged." Whether the calculator is used or not the keys are unusable and will either not select the number you chose or two or three digits will appear on the screen when you only pushed the key once.

I can't answer many questions about it because the display doesn't work properly. Part of the numbers don't appear so I wouldn't be able to say much about it besides that point.

My battery cover fell off and got lost on my old BA-35. Nice to get the whole thing replaced since the cover replacement wasn't going to happen. It's back functioning on my desktop.

I actually bought the original TI BA35/Business/Analyst (battery operated version)I was in the investment, real estate and mortgage business for 20 years and had a few of these over the years. TI stopped making the battery operated version, however, it was always my preference as it is smaller/more compact and it is very very easy to navigate. The one I bought was in very good condition, it works perfectly to date and I am very pleased with the process of purchasing it.
