I bought this book for a class. I loved reading it beyond the info I needed for a class. I had to write a book report on it, and I had no trouble saying that I would recommend it to my friends. I even convinced my parents to read it. The book is interesting and well written. Snowdon writes about many inspiring stories of his nuns and also shares the fascinating info he discovered during his study. I would say it's a must-read for anyone who works with the elderly population and anyone who needs a new perspective on aging.
I am not a reader of sorts, and I hate mandatory reading; however, this book is worth the read and I'm loving it, even if it is required! It's a very very easy read book and very interesting as well. Purchase it!
Great book to learn from. Easy to read and understand.

It was recommended. It's great - not just a perfect study group but sure gives signs and traits of Alzheimers. It is so helpful to also see what is the normal characteristics.
My daughter needed that book for a class and she has learned a lot of information about the elderly.
