In this novel you will read two unrelated stories: One is the kidnapping of the President’s son and daughter and the other, terrorism against United States by foreign terrorist, called The Family. The novel was exciting and fast-paced. As I read the book I was expecting a tie between the two, but there was none. James Patterson did this type of storytelling in couple of his previous books, and I think it’s a good change from the conventional novel-writing. I enjoyed the novel and I recommend it highly. Another thing that I liked about “Kill Alex Cross” was that he brought back detective John Sampson (the sugar guy) into the plot. That was refreshing.

This is my husband's favorite series and he very much enjoyed this latest installment. The book was in great condition and he just read on our vacation and loved it.
