Though made of plastic it is a sound piece in quality which performs flawlessly every time, this little speed loader does the trick. Very easy to use per given directions so for the money I like it and would order again.

After dropping the ammo in the floor about 5 times, I finally heald my mouth right & it kept the bullets in place. I owned 2 hk speed loaders in the past, & they were much better made & easier to use.

These are lightweight, and work well. Because the action to load the cylinder is a simple push that doesn't require any other fussing with knobs or sliding anything, they're easy to use quickly. I've used mine quite a lot and haven't had a single failure. It takes a little practice to load them quickly, and a little practice to use them efficiently, but it's very intuitive; the practice is more about muscle memory than anything else. I wish they made a seven shot one for the S&W 686+.

Safariland speed loaders are perfect for many revolvers. I have used them exclusively for a couple of my larger-frame models and have experienced very good success with them. They do not work as well with revolvers that have bulky/large grips due to the thicker sidewall construction of these speed loaders (they will not line up correctly and therefore do not seat snugly on the cylinder, as the fat grips will cause the speed loader to bind a bit). Tough? Yep. Reliable? With the right firearm setup (smaller, slimmer grips), they are VERY reliable. Fast? Oh, Yeah - these are VERY speedy, as they have a push-type cartridge release, rather than a twist-type like HKS has. Use these with the right revolver and practice a bit, and you will be able to reload really quickly without even looking. Good Job, Safariland!Read full review

I located these at Amazon with a search for speed-loaders for a Rhino 40DS...and though the site said they would work, they didn't quite work correctly. I decided to try a modification and they worked correctly afterward, just don't go as deep into the cylinder as I had hoped, but deep enough to operate the release mechanism after filing down the center star tips. The Rhino is not on the list but good enough is now good enough.
