If you're looking for a more comfortable grip than the OEM hard polymer grips? This is the way to do it! These help absorb any felt recoil and facilitate quicker 2nd and follow up shots... depending on caliber. They won't make you a better shooter but they'll make whatever you bring to the weapon a more comfortable experience. Note: your mileage may vary!

They are what I was looking for; however I would have preferred sig original grips. The Hogue rubber grips seem to be a bit bulkier then the Sig grips. They are very comfortable and fit the firearm perfectly. For the price you can't go wrong. I had the E2 snap on grips (i think they're called) and they were alright, but these I like better. They are rubber so they give a little bit of cushioning in your hands but aren't soft rubber to make them squishy. If you are looking but can't decide, they are good grips for the money...

Genuine Hogue grips better then factory. Direct replacement, add soft textured grip to your factory pistols. Rubber stays soft never tacky, you'll shoot better with Hogue Grips.

To be honest, i ordered this Hogue Sig Sauer P228/P229 Grip-Non-Slip Recoil Absorbing Rubber Grip-Black-28010 not for Sig Sauer P228 or P229, i bought it to see if it's fit for Norinco NP34 and i found it really fit, it's really great product and i really recommend it for anyone who own the same gun wanna change the OEM Grip!!! Thanks a lot. Mandoura, Mazen

The only reason I purchased this set of grips was in hopes that it would tame some of the snap and recoil the .40 caliber round generates. It did. Fit and finish are above average, and my hands don't sweat as much as they did with the original hard plastic grips.
