its easy to use, once the angle is set you dont have to remove the knife to do the other side. the diamond feature is great.. i sharpen it dry while sitting in my recliner when i'm done, i wash the sharpeners and the knife, done !!! buy this product...

Stones brilliant - plastic bits junk
DMT make great sharpening stones. The stones are very good. The plastic parts are shit. Despite the claims, the knife clamp does mark polished blades. The guide post that set the angles are cheap, ill fitting plastic. The protrusion that locks the posts at the various heights quickly broke off, and the posts now slide up & down. THEY NEED TO BE MADE OUT OF METAL, WITH SOMETHING SOFTER INSIDE THE JAWS TO CLAMP THE KNIFE. I like in Australia, so the cost to return it is prohibitive. Still, I;m disappointed. I'm still able to use the stones freehand, which is one good thing.

Needs a better table mount
The sharpening kit does do its work however you do need the black grit to start any blade at a new angle the sharpness of my blades did improve once I found the angle that matched what was on the existing knives I have been using my lansky table mount with this Stone system to get a better angle and sharpness on my knives the plastic retainer that is in this kit is horrible no support of knivesand too many angles to figure out commonalities of blades to be sharpened with this tool
