Book is written very well with clear examples. I used for a class and even if I missed a class I was still able to understand the lesson just by reading the book. The author also inserts practical problems that associate the subjects with everyday uses.
I have used many college algebra textbooks, and I would have to say that this is the best author out of them all. The examples are easy to follow and explanations are easy to understand.
Thank you for your promptness, and for detailing the book just like it was. Good Job!! The DVD that comes with this textbook is not very good as far as instructions are concerned. The explanation for each problem leaves a lot to be desired. I had to go back to last years textbook to help me on problems. This company could do a better job.
This book was the same book that I had already.. thought the class called for one that had all the different peppers on the front, but it was the same book! ended up selling it to a classmate for double what I paid.. just a heads up, all the chilis on the front are the right book..
This is a pretty good math book. Best advice is to get the student manuel to go with it. It will make your life easier!!!!
